CHILEAN GROUP AT JAIPUR

The Chilean group arrived at Chakrapani center at 9 am on 7th January 2013 and was cordially welcomed in the traditional Indian way with Aarti, Tilak, and garlands by Dr. Pallavi and the rest of the staff members. Following prayers and salutation to Lord Dhanwantari, there was a welcome speech by Dr. Parvathy Rajeev and an inauguration by the CEO of Chakrapani Ayurveda Clinic and Research Center Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha. The chief guest was Vaidya Mita who is an associate professor at the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. The function was a memorable event.

The group was given 4 hours of theory classes in the morning session and 3 hours of practical classes in the evening session. The theory classes comprised of Ayurvedic lifestyle for begetting better progeny and concept of female care and child care in Ayurveda. Practical classes comprised of demonstration of Ayurveda therapies for the management of various ailments of women during menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause-like different types of Swedana, Uttara vasti, Udwartana, and other Panchakarma therapies followed by a practice session.

Also, practical classes on Ayurveda cooking with a special focus on preparation on decoction, hot infusion, cold infusion, medicated ghee, and simple home remedies were held by Dr. Swati, Dr. Aditi, Dr. Lakshmi, Dr. Fiyonika, Dr. Parvathy, and the team working at Chakrapani Center. They also visited the National Institute of Ayurveda and a Botanical garden during their stay here. The 15 days intense training program of the Chilean group ended on January 24th. But the Journey of Chakrapani in globalizing Ayurveda continues.
