Common Uses Anthelmintic, antifungal, antidiabetic, antibacterial, antiviral, contraceptive, and sedative. It is particularly prescribed for skin disease. Neem oil is also used for healthy hair, to improve liver function, detoxify the blood, and balance blood sugar levels.

Indications It is used externally as a paste or decoction for washing in eye disorders; as a paste or oil for massage in skin disorders, itching, wound, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, haemorrhoids. It is used internally in disorders of blood, haemorrhoids, intermittent fever and disorders of fat metabolism.
